Insurance

Don’t See Your Insurance Listed?
Even if we’re not a provider for your vision plan, many insurers allow their patients to be examined by an eye doctor outside of their network, in which case the patient can simply submit an “out of network” claim.
Furthermore, many of our patients have told us that even if they had vision insurance elsewhere, they were able to take advantage of our amazing offers and still end up paying less than what they would have had to pay in out-of-pocket expenses with their vision insurance at other optical retailers here in Cincinnati! Please note that even though we are technically out-of-network for VSP, we can submit your claims for you so that all you have to pay are your co-pay and (any extraneous charges if you wish to purchase an amount of contact lenses that is beyond your maximum allowance per year).
Eyemed Vision Care
When Dr. Winkler’s practice was formerly located at the Tri County Mall Lenscrafters, he was on the panel of Eyemed Vision Care. When he moved his practice to the Kenwood Eyemart Express, he was dropped from the panel of Eyemed Vision Care, because Eyemed is owned by Luxottica, the same corporation that owns Lenscrafters. If you are a former patient of Dr. Winkler’s or a prospective new patient who has Eyemed Vision Care, please contact them to see if you indeed have out of network benefits. Our office has all of the necessary forms in order for you to be properly reimbursed. We would hate to lose you as a patient due to this tactic on the part of your vision care plan.
